What

A toolkit and game sample for modern VR in s&box. Designed to give developers a solid foundation for building VR experiences, with a full suite of physicalized systems and interaction primitives.

My Role

Main programmer on the project. I owned all the code while working alongside artists who handled the visuals.

  • Physics-based movement: Full-body VR locomotion driven by physics: no artificial smooth locomotion feel
  • Physicalized hands and objects: Hands and interactable objects are physical entities that collide, react, and feel tangible
  • World interaction system: A flexible system for players to interact with the environment in consistent, predictable ways
  • Versatile interactions: Grab, push, pull, throw, and manipulate objects with a unified interaction model
  • Deployables: Place and activate deployable objects in the world with physics-aware placement
